Who wants to talk about finding freedom? Ooh me, ooh me, I do! Now, who wants to talk about being uncomfortable? Uhh, NO ONE! Ever!

I love Track. LOVE IT! I love watching it, running it, even just looking at it. Maybe it’s nostalgia from growing up, but whatever it is, it brings me joy.

I was thinking about this recently and it occurred to me that life is a bit like running track.

“I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.” 1 Corinthians 9:22

As I dive deeper into this call on my heart to write, I find myself posting about my own story more than ever. The hurt. The healing. The journey in between. But doing so means I am vulnerable. Exposed. And if I’m not careful, thoughts of the past can swoop in and overtake my present.

This journey....this long and often weary journey. The road between the hurt + the healed. The space between the question + the answer. Oh, how hard it is!
